Game Changing
The product is excellent.
I’ve trained in mixed martial arts for a long time, and this elevates my workouts to a new level. You don’t need to do martial arts to use this though, it’s great for any athlete or person looking to workout.
I’d like to elaborate on how I am currently using it for my training, and some of the benefits.
***My Training***
1. Great for wrestling workouts. Shots, sprawls, double leg, single leg, ankle picks, jump skis, and more. You name it, you can do it.
2. Muay Thai Shadow Boxing. For one type of workout, I’ve been strapping the band on (sort of like your wearing a backpack) and throw punches, kicks, elbows, knees etc.
For a more arm and shoulder intensive workout, I creat handles (loops) on the ends to grab. This really burns.
I’ve since found out they sell leg straps, so I’ll probably be buying those as well. Might even go crazy and buy another dopa, so I can have one attached to my feet, and the other attached to my upper body. (lol)
3. General Exercises. Squats, lunges, chest, triceps, shoulders etc.
***Better Form & Less Impact***
If you’ve never done resistance training before, you might not realize how well it promotes good form. In my scenario where martial arts is all about good form and technique, it’s a huge help.
Wrestling:
If you’ve wrestled, you’ll know that sometimes the impact on your knees is not desirable. Using the Dopa significantly reduces impact, and allows me to workout longer. The more you stretch it, the less impact.
Striking:
This doesn’t really need an explanation. Once you start throwing strikes, you’ll immediately see how it promotes good form.
***How I Found Out About Dopa***
I saw a YouTube Short of Magomed Ramazanov (Olympic Wrestling Champ) going beast mode on a workout inside of an octagon. I immediately bought one.
(Well played Dopa. I don’t know how any self-respecting male could not buy one after seeing that video.)
***I Know What You’re Thinking***
Usually if I see really long reviews online (Amazon), I immediately suspect that it’s fake or paid. But this review is different, I just love the product, and it deserves to be noticed.
Regular resistance bands and the Dopa band are not the same thing. The Dopa band is not really a band at all, it’s more like a solid rope made out of silicone.
***Shipping***
I live in the USA, and it came after a few days. Smooth process.
**Customer Support**
I actually had some issues with some of the videos, because it was hard to see how one of the athletes was tieing the knots to create loops at the ends for my hands. Support reached out and was very helpful.
I actually left a four star review before because of that problem. I’ve since asked them to remove it, but it might still be up.
***Okay, I’m Done***
Stop reading this. Go buy your Dopa and get shredded! The product is excellent.

Dopa resistance band is awesome, but:
This resistance band is awesome, but it would be better if they changed the name, haha. It’s not called “Light,” it’s actually a tough resistance band. Even for someone like me who trains 3-4 times a week, it’s challenging. The quality is really impressive, and the workouts are fantastic. Thank you so much.
